This elbow takes many features from the UltraSonic and 3S Pro and puts them into a more affordable package for the competitive player. The 360 Bicep, full coverage anatomical split cap design, and the 360 forearm are key features from the higher end models that are equipped on the 3S.
Bicep & Forearm Protection
The Bauer Supreme 3S is specifically constructed to move with you. It offers a full coverage anatomical split cap design for effortless elbow movements, and an independent bicep that hovers over the soft spot on the bicep where you are most susceptible to slashes and crosschecks. The forearm has a molded 360 degree design for great wrap and comfort feel.
Elbow Cap
The elbow cap features a full coverage anatomical split cap designed to securely lock the elbow in place. The split cap also allows you a full range of motion while still maintaining a high level of protection.
Strapping System
The 3S Anchor Strap locks your elbow securely into the pad. It also has a secondary strap attached to the 360 bicep protector.
Liner
Bauer is using the Thermo Max sub liner in the 3S elbow pad. This liner incorporates moisture wicking properties, and will help keep your body cool during play.

Hockey Elbow Pads Sizing Information
When fitting or trying on elbow pads, there are a few things to look at to make sure you have a proper fit. To start, make sure your elbow is placed in the center of cup or designated area and fasten the elbow pad using the straps. You will want to make sure that elbow pad is snug and secure and will not slip off the elbow joint. As well, move your arms around with each pad on, range of motion is key, and you will feel mobility differences in each product. If the elbow pad is too big it will shift and slide around on your arm. If it is too small your elbow will feel like it is sitting above the pad.
Compare your height, weight and age to the charts provided to find your best fit. As well, put on your shoulder pad and gloves and have someone measure the space/gap in between (in inches) to determine the proper sizing.
